Emily Bagley serves as the director of advanced accreditation analytics and provider data solutions for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. In this role, she is responsible for direction and oversight of analytics and reporting, consultative services, and clinical data exchanges with providers. She also manages the strategic and account planning processes to optimize provider satisfaction and accreditation outcome measures. She also oversees the team that supports the Tennessee Health Care Innovation Initiative.
Prior to her current position, Emily was the program manager of all IHM projects and initiatives for BlueCross. She was responsible for all program management activities, including managing daily operations and overseeing each project’s budget. Additionally, she was responsible for developing plans to utilize business and technology resources.
Before this Emily worked in a number of positions within Shared Health, a subsidiary of BlueCross. One of her roles included director of client services, where she was responsible for direction and oversight of client services, engagement management, account management, call center and customer satisfaction activities that support the success of Shared Health. Another role was manager of clinical outreach, where she was responsible for provider adoption of Shared Health’s Clinical Health Record. She also served as a project manager where she lead the CMS Personal Health Record pilot and developed their consumer view of the Clinical Health Record.
Emily began her career at BlueCross in 1999 as an analyst in the actuarial area where she developed the pharmacy pricing model.
She has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics with a concentration in actuarial science from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee.
Emily and her husband have a 15-year-old son and a daughter who is eight.
